CyberOptics® Corporation (NASDAQ: CYBE), a leading global developer and manufacturer of high precision 3D sensing technology solutions, is pleased to announce Sy Creed as the Americas Sales Director, effective today. He will lead sales efforts for Surface Mount Technology (SMT) inspection system products in the Americas.

Creed has more than 23 years of successful sales experience across a variety of products for the electronics assembly industry, serving OEM, EMS, automotive, and military/aerospace. Prior to joining CyberOptics, he served 18 years as Regional Sales Manager for American Hakko Products, a globally recognized leader, and manufacturer of soldering, rework, fume extraction, and related equipment for the electronics, industrial and hobby industries. Creed also holds an IPC-STD-001SE CIT certification.
He will be attending the IPC APEX EXPO in San Diego that starts February 24. CyberOptics will demonstrate the new SQ3000 Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) system with the advanced 3D Multi-Reflection Suppression (MRS) sensor technology that enables microscopic image quality at production speed.
