MicroCare Introduces CleanBlast™ Fluid for Automated Cleaning of Fiber Optic Connectors On PCBs

Sep 21, 2016

Visit Sticklers® fibre optic cleaners at ECOC stand #376

MicroCare Europe bvba, the European division of the world’s leading manufacturer of critical cleaning, coating and lubrication products, is bringing updates and enhancements to the Sticklers® fiber optic cleaning products to the ECOC Exhibition from 19-21 Sep. 2016 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The focus at this expo will be the new CleanBlast™-compatible HFE-based fibre cleaning fluid from Viavi® Solutions, now packaged by the MicroCare and the Sticklers® team.

The CleanBlast™ chemistry is the cleaning fluid used in the CleanBlast™ fiber optic cleaning system manufactured by Viavi Solutions. This system is engineered for the automated, high-speed cleaning of fibre end-faces. These systems are widely used around the world by electronics OEMs incorporating fibre optic connectors on their PCBs, plus other OEMs making fibre transceivers, patch cords and other quality fibre optic devices. Thousands of systems are in use in Europe, the USA, Mexico and across Asia and every one of these systems needs a suuply of the CleanBlast™ HFE-based cleaning fluid.

Now packaged in the Sticklers® factory, the CleanBlast™ fluid will manufactured to the Viavi specification. It is 100% compatible with the Viavi CleanBlast™ machine. The fluid is packaged in the same industry-standard 225ml brown glass bottles and will exactly fit the Viavi CleanBlast™ fibre cleaning systems. The fluid itself is a nonflammable HFE blend which is the exact, drop-in replacement for the cleaning fluid provided with the Viavi Solutions CleanBlast™ systems; no adjustments to the machine will be required. Part numbers and exterior packaging remains identical to the Viavi specifications.

After the ECOC exhibition, Viavi Solutions will no longer offer the cleaning fluid and instead refer customers needing CleanBlast™ fluids to Sticklers® distributors world-wide. For more information, contact Sticklers® distributors or visit: www.sticklerscleaners.com/products/product/cleanblast-hfe-based-cleaning-fluid/.

Also at ECOC the Sticklers® team will feature new end-face cleaning sticks, new cleaning kits and other chemical formulations unique to the market. Learn more at: www.SticklersCleaners.com.
