PROMATION LM-400 PCB Laser Marking system offers a multitude of features/functions for the most demanding customers. This 10W CO2 laser marker incorporates: Internal PCB Flip (for 2 sided marking), Mark grade rating system, Fiducial alignment, Key mark functionality, 4 colr LED ring around the verifier for color PCB enhanced scanning, Keyence air knife for PCB cleaning prior to exit and integrated BOFA fume extraction system. When married to PROMATION's ASC (Automatic Scanning Conveyor) the verification process is transferred to the ASC which can help reduce cycle times by up to 50%.
The marked location data is transferred to the ASC unit during PCB transfer which eliminates the need to programming locations. A top and bottom side scanning gantry travels to each mark location and verifies each code without flipping the PCB or panel. The MES system can easily export bar code information to most networks.
