presenting PowerCAD® SiteMaster™ at the American Institute
of Architects 2004 National Convention and Design Expo in Chicago.
PowerCAD SiteMaster is a new mobile and wireless field solution
which automates the creation of wireless, laser-generated as-built
floor plans, area estimates, and building inspections for architects,
appraisers, contractors, engineers, estimators, installers, realtors
and other professionals involved in the design, construction and
management of buildings.
Improving job efficiencies as much as 1,000%
over manual “measuring
tape and paper” methods, PowerCAD SiteMaster uses precise
measurements from a wireless Leica DISTO™ Plus laser to automatically
create richly detailed as-built floor plans and construction drawings
on a Windows® Pocket PC, Handheld PC or Tablet PC. Drawings
are generated to professional architectural CAD standards, and
include complete as-built site information with extended detailing,
accurate room areas and dimensions, and on-site inspection observations
including digital photographs and hands-free VoiceNOTE™ audio
recordings.
For maximum efficiency, results can be saved in AutoCAD® file
formats and sent directly from the jobsite to customer or company
office locations via email or wireless data transfer.

SiteMaster at Leica’s booth # 1048 after 4PM on
Thursday June 10, and during published exhibit hours on Friday
June 11 and Saturday June 12.
