Feb 08, 2006

APEX 2006, Anaheim CA 8th February, 2006 Valor Computerized Systems [FWB: VCR], the leader in productivity-enhancing solutions for the electronics industry, has announced the appointment of Ori Braun as the new president of Valor Computerized Systems, Inc. His appointment rounds out Valors management team, bringing an executive with extensive industry and management expertise on board. Braun will be based at Valors US headquarters in Foothill Ranch, California.

Ori Braun joins Valor from medical electronics company Life Watch, Inc, where he was president of the $40 million business. Prior to this role Ori held various CEO and management positions, and founded many high technology companies including Helios Software Engineering Ltd (simulation products) that he sold to Cadence Design Systems in 1990, after which he then directed the Cadence Analysis Group.

Current Valor, Inc president and electronics industry veteran, Chuck Feingold, is moving to a new position on Valors Board of Directors. Commenting on his successor, Chuck said, We are very pleased to welcome Ori to the Valor management team. His entrepreneurial flair and proven track record in successfully growing companies is outstanding and will be a tremendous asset to our US organization. His appointment will enable me to focus my efforts at Board-level on the expansion of the company at the global level.

Ofer Shofman, CEO at Valor, added, During the past 14 years, Chuck has built a successful organization in the States. We thank him for his tremendous contribution and look forward to his continued involvement at board level. The addition of Ori to the team, bringing fresh ideas and wide industry experience, strengthens our company further. In 2005 we achieved the best ever year in terms of revenues, running at nearly 20% up on the previous year. We start 2006 with a strong order book, new people, a portfolio of industry-leading productivity solutions and a first class reputation in customer service. With exciting new solutions in development due for release later this year, we are well positioned to penetrate new markets and realize the companys aggressive growth strategy.

When asked what attracted him to Valor, Ori Braun responded that it was a combination of the companys leadership, solutions and reputation in the industry. Valor is on its way to become the leader in the assembly market, offering superb NPI and MES solutions built on first-class technology. As the vendor of choice for global electronics companies, the companys vision in helping manufacturers rise to the challenges of change, complexity and competition presents a great opportunity to further Valors penetration in North, Central and South America.
