The Nintento Wii Interactive Lounge, new this year, will provide entertaining games for attendees to play. The Lounge will be located next to the SMTA booth on the show floor. Attendees are encouraged stop in for a quick game, to meet other industry professionals and the SMTA staff, and to buy raffle tickets for a chance to take home the Nintento Wii at the end of the conference.
Real-Time Chat Rooms provide a non-virtual interchange of technology, practices, and information. Join topic-specific round-table discussions to exchange ideas, opinions, and information. This years chats will cover topics such as Low/No Silver Bearing Lead-Free Wave Soldering Alloys, Evaluating the Through Hole Soldering Process Options, Broad Band Printing, and Considerations in the Development of a Lead-Free Manufacturing Process.
Tables will be set to hold the chats throughout the show floor. There is no charge to participate. SMTAI attendees are encouraged to stop by, listen, take notes, comment, ask questions, and learn something new. Each discussion session has an open agenda and will be facilitated by an industry expert. The SMTA provides this program to facilitate the exchange of real-world information among real practitioners as well as to help everyone expand his or her personal network.
