NEPCON China 2009 and NEPCON South China 2009 Receive Support from German Ministry for a German Pavilion

Bangkok, Thailand � May 26, 2008 � Reed Exhibitions, the NEPCON events in China organizer, is proud to announce that the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) in cooperation with the Association of Germany Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) are again supporting the German group participation for both its NEPCON China and NEPCON South China events in 2009. �This means that NEPCON China 2009 (Shanghai event) and NEPCON South China 2009 (Shenzhen event) have been taken into the Ministry�s foreign trade fair program for a German group pavilion in 2009, which offers German companies attractive conditions for participation. VDMA, the German Engineering Federation, with its Productronics Association, has been one of the initiating associations of the German Pavilion in NEPCON events in China.

The Managing Director of VDMA, Productronics Association, Dr. Eric Maiser, said, �NEPCON events in China are excellent opportunities to showcase the trends and innovations in our industry and are ideal to strengthen mutual business relations and joint developments between Chinese and German partners. We were very pleased with the result of NEPCON China 2008, many of our exhibitors made very good contacts and, as such, we have decided to continue our participation very early at Nepcon events in China for 2009.�

China�s exports of electronics are reaching new records every year and are already supplying around 18% of the world exports in electronics products. The country is a very promising marketplace for German companies especially in automotive, computers and telecommunications.

Over three decades of Sino-German relations, the traditionally good trade partnership between China and Germany and ever-rising importance of the Chinese electronics industry make NEPCON events in China an exceptionally attractive event for the German machinery and plant manufacturers.

Eighteen German high-tech companies from the materials and equipment sector for production of electronics were present at the last NEPCON China event in April 2008. NEPCON China 2009 will be held 21 to 24 April 2009 and NEPCON South China 2009 will be held on 31 August to 2 September 2009.
