Oct 16, 2008 METALNOX� M6310 is an aqueous blend designed for heavy-duty cleaning of dry lube, oils, waxes, grease, carbonized soils and shop dirt while being multi-metal safe. Easy to use, M6310 is diluted further with water as required to remove the soils involved. M6310 contains silicates and phosphates; therefore, a thorough rinse is required to prevent white bloom on parts. To prevent flash rusting of ferrous parts, an addition of an inhibitor, such as KYZEN CP90S in the rinse is suggested.
Features and benefits for the cleaner include that it is heavy duty, amine-free, low foaming, effective in mild steel equipment, effective on dry lubes, is low VOC and has no HAPs or CFCs, and is non-flammable and non-corrosive. Additionally, it features a low use cost and is designed for use in spray and immersion systems.
METALNOX� M6310 is multi-metal safe for use on yellow metals including copper, bronze and brass, aluminum, iron, steel and composites in addition to most precious metals, plastics and rubbers. It is safe to use with PVDF, Kalrez�, Teflon and ceramic elastomers and filters, while it is best used in polypropylene or stainless equipment.
The cleaner is available commercially in one 1, five and 55 gallon containers.
