Global Asset Buy Back Program Receives $3 Million from Test Equipment Connection

Dec 01, 2008

(December 1, 2008 Lake Mary, FL USA) - Test Equipment Connection Corp. today announced a $3 Million test equipment corporate buy-back program for December 2008. Qualified test equipment assets include spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, SiteMasters, signal generators, service monitors, OTDR's and select equipment manufactured by Anritsu, Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz, Fluke, Megger, Yokogawa, Advantest, Aeroflex Keithley, LeCroy, JDSU and Cisco.

Mike Novello President and COO of Test Equipment Connection commented, "We're advising our customers to stay ahead of market conditions regarding their test equipment assets. Recent economic contractions and layoffs will predictably lead to an abundance of underutilized test equipment. We believe end user customers that act quickly will be in the best position to recover the most value for any excess equipment they may own. Test Equipment Connection's buy-back program provides a chance for these customers to maximize their return while at the same time clearing these transactions in Q4 instead of carrying the transactions over to their 2009 financial statements. We see this as an opportunity for customers to monetize these assets and for Test Equipment Connection to place this equipment into other users and countries demanding the latest test and measurement technology. This buy-back program is available for assets previously purchased from us or purchased new from OEM's and other vendors. Our ability to provide buy-backs, take trade-ins, offer consignment services and purchase surplus assets outright is a nice value proposition during this unprecedented global economic situation."
