For Immediate Release: Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation (BNC Corp) announces a 50 MHz Function / Arbitrary Waveform Generator at same low price

San Rafael, CA Headquarters

New 50 MHz Function / Arbitrary Waveform Generator addresses increased need for high speed waveforms; expands on current applications, provides avenues for new research, and employs an easy to use interface. Same great price for domestic customers.

An established Bay Area company, Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation (BNC) enjoys a 45 year history providing quality instrumentation to the Nuclear and Test Equipment communities. BNC is launching a new family of products for 2009. The first model being released is the highly anticipated 50 MHz Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG), Model 645.

Berkeley Nucleonics Model 645 is able to address many different applications such as benchtop research and development, radar simulation, circuit testing, custom waveform generation and throughput and response measurements.

Applications Manager, John Yee, states, "The new millennia delivered many advancements in component manufacturing, quality assurance, failure analysis, and precision timing requirements. Similar to the markets addressed by Digital Delay and Pulse Generators offered by BNC, scientists using AWG also need to provide an increased level of analysis. The Model 645 is able to provide research scientists with easy to use features along with the advanced specifications they require."

The new Model 645 incorporates many new features including 50MHz sine waves and 10MHz Arbitrary Waveforms. The feature packed line of ARBs from Berkeley Nucleonics also offer conventional capability with more accuracy and speed (Pulse, Ramp, Triangle, Noise, DC Waveforms; AM, FM, PM (PSK), FSK & PWM Modulation, Linear & Logarithmic Sweeps & Burst). New for 2009, we offer USB, LAN or GPIB remote operation, and an updated version of WaveCrafter...our Waveform Creation Software.

The Model 645 is priced at $1,465.00 for domestic shipments, the same price as the predecessor Model 632. Loaded with new features and at the same price, the Model 645 is a great option for your growing benchtop instrumentation demands.
