Aqueous Technologies Introduces StencilWasher MP � The Vertical Format Misprint and Stencil Cleaning System

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA � February 2009 � Aqueous Technologies Corp. announces the StencilWasher MP, a fully automatic misprint and stencil cleaning system that is designed to remove non-reflowed solder paste and adhesives from misprinted assemblies, stencils, and screens, as well as post-reflow circuit assemblies.

StencilWasher MP is capable of removing all solder pastes, including rosin, water soluble, and no-clean as well as uncured surface mount adhesives. Additionally, it is designed to remove solder paste from misprinted assemblies as well as stencils and screens.�StencilWasher MP may be used in post-reflow defluxing applications, and features a capacity of 32 x 30" (812.8 mm x 763 mm), making it an ideal solution for oversized circuit assemblies.

StencilWasher MP is fully automatic, providing wash, rinse, and drying at the touch of a button. Unlike other automatic stencil and misprint cleaning systems, it requires only vertical movement, providing the wash, rinse, and dry functions within a single axis, eliminating complex conveyers while providing increased reliability.

Using a patented fluid delivery system, StencilWasher MP removes all targeted contamination effectively and rapidly. As an additional benefit, the system is equipped with a heated closed-loop wash solution reservoir and is compatible with many popular stencil cleaning chemistries, including Aqueous Technologies' StencilWash Plus.

StencilWasher MP is standard-equipped with a misprint holding rack, designed to securely capture misprinted assemblies, allowing multiple boards to be cleaned within a single cycle. It also is equipped with a PLC-based control system, providing reliable and consistent process control. For safety, the entire machine is ETL listed and complies with NFPA 70, 79; IEC; NEMA 1, 12 and OSHA requirements, and is equipped with internal 110% fluid containment.
