In this new position, Buckley will be responsible for growing existing customers and adding new customers through the implementation of the new Zurvahn Business Model and Value Proposition. Zurvahn, with its unique Business Model and Value Proposition for Low-Volume/High-Mix (LVHM) customers, will introduce a much needed manufacturing service to the LVHM marketplace. At the center of this new Value Proposition is the �Best in Class� featuring flexibility, speed and focus for Zurvahn's customers, far exceeding anything that is currently in the EMS marketplace.
Buckley joins Zurvahn from Sanmina-SCI, where he worked for the past three years in the New Product Introduction division and held the position of Vice President of Sales. He managed that division as well as the sales force located in San Jose, Calif.
Prior to Sanmina, Buckley worked at Solectron for seven years managing the FinePitch division, where he also focused on new product introduction and low-volume/high-mix emerging business. When he started at Solectron in 1999, the revenue was under $20 million dollars per year for Fine Pitch. When he left in 2006, its revenues were in access of $150 million dollars, with multiple divisions throughout North America.
Buckley also has 10 years of experience in sales from working at Seagate, where he held several sales positions and worked with major customers such as Silicon Graphics and Apple Worldwide. Additionally, he has served as national sales manager for major component distributors such as Arrow, Avnet and Bell Microproducts.
John graduated from University of California, Irvine where he studied Mathematics and Computer Science. After graduation, he began working for Texas Instruments, and then Adaptec for two years as a field sales engineer.
