This wafer handling tool kit comes standard with one molded peek wafer tip, which is ideal for handling wafers,�flat panels�or any item that has a flat, hard surface. Additionally, it easily lifts more than 500 grams, has no hoses to get in the way and includes a disposable 9V battery. Rear exhaust of the pump air is standard on these units.
The low battery indicator flashes red when the battery needs to be changed or an optional battery pack recharged. A switch setting on the bottom of the tool allows selection of alkaline battery or NiMH battery discharge characteristics for the low battery indicator. Also, a large on/off switch provides easy control, and an internal air filter (P/N PV4000-FIL-5) is replaceable from the front of the tool. The Class 1 exhaust filter is clean room approved and ensures clean operation. An optional rechargeable battery pack and in-stand charger also are available.�This tool accepts any of Virtual Industries' handling tips that have the press-fit-adaptor.
