Back by popular demand, IPC will again sponsor the A-Line, a working assembly line featured on the show floor. Equipment on the A-Line will be used to demonstrate state-of-the-art surface mount assembly, while on-site experts detail the A-Line’s processes and equipment.
The multiple award-winning Trident, its fourth-generation automatic defluxing system, represents a culmination of more than 20 years of batch-format defluxing equipment experience. Reportedly the fastest batch-format defluxing system available, its specific throughput rate is determined by board size. The system is capable of defluxing and cleanliness testing up to 200 101 x 152 mm boards and up to 28 457 x 508 mm boards per hour.Trident offers several defluxing configurations designed to provide complete compatibility with all defluxing requirements. Trident’s defluxing process consists of up to five cycles including prewash, wash, rinse, cleanliness testing and drying.
“Aqueous Technologies is proud to have been provided the opportunity to participate in IPC’s A-Line. Rather than simply obtaining brochures or staring at static equipment, visitors at the A-Line are afforded the opportunity to see real machines in action, as they would be at their facility, adding value to an already valuable show experience,” said Mike Konrad, President of Aqueous Technologies.
