Congressman Robert B. Aderholt Tours STI Electronics Facility

Sep 04, 2009

MADISON, AL — September 2009 — STI Electronics, Inc., a full service organization providing training, distribution, consulting, laboratory analysis, prototyping, and small- to medium-volume PCB assembly, announces that it received a visit by Congressman Robert Aderholt, representing the Fourth Congressional District of Alabama.

The Congressman visited STI Electronics’ previous facility a few years back, and was invited back for a tour of the company’s new facility. As promised, Congressman Aderholt returned to visit the growing business and meet some of its employees. He attended a breakfast with STI’s employees and took a tour of the new facility.

STI employees explained the operation of the new Juki assembly line to Congressman Aderholt, which he showed great interest in. He also was impressed with how parts are reflowed at STI Electronics, and was introduced to cleaning at STI’s analytical lab. Employees explained STI’s new clean room and IC/DT technology, and gave the Congressman a chance to experiment with its new Scanning Electron Microscope.

“I appreciate Representative Aderholt’s visit. With all of the negative news and opinions regarding Congress, it is great to see someone who is interested in and understands the importance of small business. I also think it restored some confidence in others and myself at STI that there is at least one Representative that is on our side,” said David Raby, President & CEO.

Congressman Aderholt has continued to work toward bringing record levels of funding to Alabama for vital projects throughout the state and district. He campaigned on a promise to continue his commitment to improve transportation in Alabama. This commitment involves making roads safer, improving economic development, and creating more jobs for the Fourth Congressional District and all of Alabama.
