"This year's group of finalists is very impressive," said Mike Stull, director of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship. "The Inland Empire region continues to be a hotbed for entrepreneurial activity, and our upcoming awards program recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit that each of the finalists exhibit through the businesses they've created and grown."
On October 7, 2009 the IECE announced the names of the finalists. “I am honored to have been selected as a finalist in the Spirit Awards program. Southern California is a leading region for technical innovation for which Aqueous Technologies has benefited,” said Michael Konrad.
The Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards program was founded to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Southern California’s Inland Empire region’s top entrepreneurial business leaders. Through the years, they have honored more than 100 entrepreneurs as finalists and bestowed the coveted Spirit Award to more than 40 entrepreneurs.
The black-tie awards program has become the top business event in the Inland Empire. Drawing entrepreneurs, politicians, and business and community leaders from every part of the region, where they celebrate the entrepreneurial success stories that drive the local economy and serve as roles models for aspiring entrepreneurs.
The award recipients will be announced at the 7th Annual Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards gala, scheduled to take place Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, CA.
