Machine Vision Products (MVP) today announced it would be demonstrating the award winning Dynamic Process Control (DPC) Manufacturing Management Suite at Productronica 2009 in Munich, November 10th to 13th. Hall A4 Booth 229.
DPC continues to enhance its already class leading software tools, extending the capability of Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) directly to the equipment and operations of SMT manufacturing lines. These tools provide the capability to significantly improve the performance, quality and traceability of today’s rapidly changing production environments.
On single or mixed vendor SMT production lines, DPC allows all data to be stored and viewed using a single toolset, while at the same time supplying detailed proactive instructions and optimized leading indicators. DPC's unique instructional approach to Lean Manufacturing prompts users to take action to minimize every possible opportunity for loss. Each action prioritized by its impact at that exact moment in time, ensuring operations are always performing to the maximum of their current capability.
Building on the success of its current modules for machine management, setup verification and traceability, MVP has successfully integrated its Line Control Manager (LCM) module adding real-time line management at operations, engineering and operator level. While driving line performance and preserving data for historical trending, LCM also allows for seamless integration with both in-house and proprietary ERP, MRP and MES tools.
Successfully running in 24/7 production since January 2004 on lines containing mixtures of CAMX and legacy equipment, MVP has also enhanced its equipment communication interfacing with even more SMT equipment platforms, now adding Fuji Flexa. This together with its continuing support and development of CAMX, proprietary interfaces and SECSII/GEM ensures its ability to connect to ALL equipment in a manufacturing line.
