Everett Charles Technologies (ECT) announces plans to launch its new Z pin™ test probe in booth 567, Hall 1 at the upcoming Productronica exhibition. The event is scheduled to take place 10th – 13th November 2009 at the New Munich Trade Fair Center in Munich, Germany.
Never before seen in Europe, Productronica will provide the launch pad for ECT to showcase the new Z pin, or “Zip” technology. Designed initially to target the semiconductor final test, burn-in and compliant interface markets, the Z pin features include a revolutionary patented two dimensional design with planar contact surfaces fabricated by an innovative test pin manufacturing process delivering performance and cost advantages. Additional future designs will address bare and loaded printed circuit board test applications as well as be used in compliant connector embodiments where reliable, compliant electrical connections are required. The Z pin product suite delivers innovative solutions and value for these increasingly cost sensitive applications.
Plus - ECT will be showcasing their lines of lead-free and Pogo™PLUS, designed for PCBA test; battery probes, high frequency or coaxial and special application probes.
