ITAR regulations were designed to control the information and materials of military-related technologies and ensure that military technologies are only shared with US persons unless approval from the Department of State is received via a special exemption. The registration of a company to comply with ITAR regulations allows them to work in conjunction with the US military, and expresses the company’s obligation to handle ITAR-protected products according to all regulations.
To qualify for ITAR registration, A-Laser met strict requirements for corporate structure, security, record keeping, and procedures for handling of sensitive military and intelligence applications.
