"The PRM module is a powerful addition to MYDATA's efficient and intelligent material handling system”, says Robert Göthner, Sr Vice President and General Manager. “In times of increasing order intake, PCB manufacturers are often forced to hire extra staff, or even add an extra shift. The PRM software can help avoiding these costly measures by increasing machine utilization”.
PRM is a software module that gives the operators immediate overview of all replenishment needs across the SMT lines. Replenishment requests are displayed well in advance, preventing any material shortage from disturbing assembly. True non-stop operation is enabled by giving stock room personnel and machine operators replenishment guidance at the right time. The PRM option is fully integrated with MYLabel's extensive material database, and, optionally, it can be connected to the SMD Tower control SW. The result is a highly automated replenishment aid, which enables highest possible uptime and utilization.
“Even though PRM, SMD Tower and MYLabel all work very well as stand-alone products, it's when you combine the three that you unleash the full potential of the system” says Mattias Jonsson, Product Manager. “Keeping your machines running has never been easier, thanks to these user-friendly, yet powerful tools.”
