Circuit Technology Inc. Adds Fiber Optic Training to Its Repertoire

Circuit Technology Inc., an IPC master training organization, has added fiber optic training to its current offering of IPC training and electronics assembly training classes. 

The fiber optic training classes provide trainees with the skills and expertise required to be certified fiber optic technicians. Attendees learn about the fiber optic theory, types of fiber optic cables, terminations, connectors and splicing. Also included in the curriculum is loss testing, OTDR testing and basic fiber cable networking. 

Installers, technicians, system network engineers, contractors and PCB assemblers will benefit from this training. Hands on application of the theories are part of the courses, and certification from the Fiber Optic Association is received upon successful completion. The training is conducted at Circuit Technology’s three training facilities in Raleigh, NC, Baltimore, MD and Clearwater, FL as well as on location at customer sites.
