Microscan, a global technology leader for track and trace solutions, introduces a free online barcode generator located at http://www.microscan.com/createbarcodes that allows visitors to create, save and email custom barcodes from the Microscan website.

More than 19 different symbologies ranging from linear barcodes to stacked codes and 2D symbologies are available, as well as a custom color feature. While not intended as a professional barcode application tool or including a guarantee or technical support, this is an informative resource that allows users to visually understand the different types of barcodes and symbologies. Custom codes can be downloaded, saved and e-mailed.

The following codes are supported: Code 39, Code 39 Extended, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 11, Codabar, UPC-A, Industrial 2 of 5, Matrix 2 of 5, Code 93, EAN-13, EAN-8, Code 128, PDF417, Data Matrix and MaxiCode.
