SMTA China announces that it presented eight overall awards, nine best paper/presentation awards and two best exhibit awards at the SMTA China East 2011 Conference Award Presentation Ceremony, held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Shanghai Everbright International Hotel in conjunction with the SMTA China Fifth Anniversary Gala dinner.
SMTA China Annual Award Winners 2011
Zeping Zheng, Director of Asia Pacific Sales of BTU International Inc., was awarded Officer of the Year 2011 for providing great support in liaising with China Government Officers for the SMTA China. He has served SMTA China as Vice President of Training as one of the key leader of its organization.
Maverick Luk, Public Relations Manager of Electronic Technology Publishing, received the Member of the Year 2011 award for being an active member and providing full support to many conferences and training sessions for SMTA China over the years.
Megan Wendling, President of MW Associates, was awarded Councilor of the Year 2011 for fully supporting all SMTA China events, actively promoting the SMTA China conferences and soliciting numerous sponsors to SMTA China.
Manbo Su, General Secretary of Guangdong Province SMT Committee, received the Advisor of the Year 2011 award. Mr. Su and his committee have been great partners to SMTA China for many years. Additionally, he helped to closely link the SMTA China and the Guangdong Province SMT Committee.
Kyzen was awarded the Corporate Member of the Years 2011 award for providing strong sponsorship to SMTA China and events including conferences and the golf tournament, as well as much support in organizing SMTA China conferences and training sessions for many years.
Reed Exhibitions (China) Ltd., Shanghai Branch received the Partner Sponsor of the Year 2011 award. Reed Exhibitions has sponsored SMTA China Conferences and meetings in conjunction with the NEPCON shows at Shanghai and Shenzhen for many years. Reed is a premium sponsor of SMTA China.
VJ Electronix, Inc. was awarded Member Sponsor of the Year 2011 for sponsoring many SMTA China events for numerous years including the platinum sponsor of the SMTA China Annual Reception and gala dinner, golf tournament and vendor conference.
Global SMT & Packaging Magazine was awarded Media Sponsor of the Year 2011 for providing substantial support in the vendor conferences over the years with complimentary videos and interviews of conference speakers as well as free posting services for SMTA China papers.
The Best Paper/Presentation Awards
ZESTRON Asia North’s Jerry Ji was awarded the Best Paper of Technology Conference One (CE11) for the presentation “pH-Neutral vs. Alkaline Cleaning Agents.”
Integrated Service Technology Inc.’s Cherie Chen received the Best Paper of Technology Conference One (CE11) for “A Validation Method to Approach Creep Corrosion Occurrence on PCB.”
Kyzen’s Phil Zhang was awarded the Best Paper of Technology Conference Two (CE11) for the paper “Correlation Study for Cleaning Flux Residues under Component Gaps.”
Indium Corp.’s Nr. Ningcheng Lee was awarded the Best Presentation of Technology Conference One (CE11) for the presentation titled “Voiding Control at QFN Assembly.”
Henley Zhou of Flextronics Industrial (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. received the Best Presentation of Technology Conference Two (CE11) award for “High-Temperature Hot Bar Process Development for Attaching FPC to Ceramic Board FPC.”
The Best Presentation of Vendor Conference One (CE11) was awarded to Fred Dimock of BTU International, Inc. for “Lowering Your Reflow Cost.”
Cookson Electronics-Enthone’s James B. Kenny and Ken Chow received the Best Presentation of Vendor Conference One (CE11) for the presentation “ENTEK OM-an OSP Alternative High-Performance Final Finish.”
