IPC J-STD-001 Aerospace Specialist (CIS) Certification Online Live Training Course

This 1-day live online course, for certification, covers the J-STD-001 “Space Electronics Hardware Addendum” and provides additional requirements over those published in IPC’s J-STD-001, “Requirements for Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assemblies” to ensure the reliability of soldered electrical and electronic assemblies that must survive the vibration and thermal cyclic environments experienced while traveling and operating in space.

This lecture only program will identify and review each section of the addendum, followed by an online exam. There are no workmanship requirements for this module.

Important Prerequisites:

Specialists must have a current J-STD-001 CIS Certification and both this certification and the J-STD-001 Space Addendum certification must be of the same revision. In addition, your J-STD-001 Specialist Certification must include module one and at least one more module in the program to be able to qualify to take this program. This optional Module to the J-STD-001 Specialist Training Program is not published as part of the regular J-STD-001 course materials.
