These parts are flat chip resistor arrays that have 4 end terminations on each side. It looks liek an IC but is typically in an 0805 and 1206 package type with convex terminations. .031" pitch from termination to termination and .011" spacing between

Hombre, presuming you are doing this as enhancement for looks, I have some comments. 1. LED's seldom run on more than 3 volts. 4.5 volts max for some special types. Because the car is 12 volts all over, you have to use a resistor to reduce the v

BGA Resistor Array Separating from Balls

Hello all, One of our resistor arrays is becoming detached from its balls after reflow. This is the second instance of this happening. The balls are clearly soldered to the board, but the actual package is coming off (package pads are quite bare).

Russ: Thats a pretty stand-up postin bud. Its neat that you can root-out that dirt. We couldnt dig-up that stuff, if they threatened to shoot the dog. You could be correct about using convex for waving. We dont wave RNET as Philips suggests

PCB Thermal Design Considerations

Electronics Forum | Fri May 20 03:41:04 EDT 2016 | jpcwg

With power components coming in smaller and smaller surface mount packages it is very important to come up with a coherent approach to mitigating the thermal dissipation requirements of these components in a PCB design. While the development of an ex
