I was wondering if anyone has done a study on thermo couple attachment with light cure adhesive.I have read all the papers and articles about aluminum tape, Kapton, and high temp solder.I have yet to hear anything regarding the accuracy of light cure

Very thin laminate substrate problem with solder printing

Electronics Forum | Wed Feb 01 02:11:38 EST 2017 | Rob

Hi Joshua, No, the adhesive lasts 2 or 3 runs. The adhesive is put on manually as is the kapton. It's a big panel for a flex - nearly 300 x 210, so the operator loading the boards onto the pallet and fixing them (then into a buffer) stays well ahe

Flex circuits

Hi John, We use Spray mount adhesive on durastone pallets, then kapton tape on the egdes. We have produced upto 25K flexi PCB's a day with this method. The trick is to get just the right amount on the pallet, to maintain tackiness. Cheers, Rob.

Blocking stencil apertures (on purpose)

Electronics Forum | Mon Apr 28 09:53:10 EDT 2003 | kmorris

I've got a set of apertures on a stencil that I would like to "plug" or block off. In the past we've done this with Kapton tape, but since this location is close to a fine pitch component, the thickness of the tape prevents good gasketing at the fin
