Air-Vac Engineering has nozzles for Mictor Connectors that work with their rework systems. They make removal and replacement of the connectors a snap.

We have an Air-Vac in-house I will take a look at but we need to get down about 3/4" with about 1/2 inch clearance.

I would try Air-Vac, They have excellent SMT and Through hole rework equipment. Don't know what "affordable" means in your case. Russ
