This is sort of interesting. We had a clock problem with Alpha OM-338 lead free paste. The flux residue was causing a clock problem and the clock was only a few KHz. We went back ot OM-5100 lead paste and the problem never occurred again. Chris

Looking for some opinions on what the best, readily available, Alpha lead free water sol paste is out there. Only thing I can see on their website is the WS-819. Anyone with experience with this? We currently are using the OM-338 NC which works great

My operator applied flux gel ALPHA WS-609 on MG P/N FTH101XAP (CAP ALUM 100UF 50V 20% SMD) before aqueous washing the PCBAs. Solder paste used was ALPHA WS-820. Now the caps have yellow stains. Any solution to this is appreciated. Tks

We got a similar alloy Sn05Pb93.5Ag1.5, of Alpha Vaculoy bars. It is not the eutectic alloy you were looking for but it is close. This alloy and similar high temperature alloys are used in downhole electronics and so a supplier in the Houston area
