Has anyone experimented with the Amtech 4300 flux that claims to be a no-clean flux that is easily removed with water? If so, how did it go? Is this flux truly removable with water only while creating adequate solder joints? -OtheRuss

I am having a problem with some joints on a 100 pin pqfp and few different soics on one particular board. When viewed a 8x with a "Mantis" inspection scope the joints look as though they wetted to the ic leg but when probed the leg will pop loose.

AMTECH NWS-4200-4H3 is the best I have come across for a leaded process. As for lead-free I did some studies and we liked the Indium 3.1 and 5.1.
