I read through this thread somewhat and checked out the pictures. I've programmed TH lead checks on a newer Yestech and an older Mirtec. I personally use the Yestech white-top/histogram check and the only solder inspection Mirtec has. In my experienc

We have the yestech systems and are very pleased with them. I would also suggest that you bring units into your facility to see a demonstration. It seems that there are really only two choices when it comes to the quick to program and easy to use ver

By "digital video inspection system", I'll assume you mean AOI. I have only dealt with one AOI system, YesTech, and in my opinion I'd say that AOI is much more consistent and advantageous than manual microscope inspections. Specifically, with the Yes

Hello 2000Nog, I think you are limiting your options here. We use MIRTEC at my facility. I am familiar with both YESTech and Vitrox (Agilent). IMO MIRTEC continues to lead the pack in technology. Worth a look before you buy. Just my two cents...

Hi Jose Luis, Have you tried Yestech ? They have very good service reps in Spain and several machines installed in your Country. Programming is very easy and are very useful for low vol/high mix and also for TH inspection.

Speaking from experience, my vote goes to Mirtec MV-3 or MV-7 with the 4 Megapixel camera setup. 2 Megapixel cams won't inspect that small, other than for presence Yestech also has machines that are suitable for this work. No company affiliations,

Not sure exactly what you plan on inspecting with it, but in general my favorite is Cyberoptics. I've worked with Omron, YesTech, Mirtec, and Cyberoptics. Cyber is def my fav.

Hi aj, We recently purchased an AOI machine. While doing the first pass research to see which machines to put through a head to head competition I discovered a major improvement in the programming for newer machines. If you buy used, get one that
