We only use it for resistor color code and most other comps it just checks for presence. No solder joints.

Absolutely - it is probably cheaper! Soon they might start doing it with the transistors, diodes and ICs too. Why would you need a sophisticated AOI machine then? What would quality control look for? It is annoying, considering the amount of differen

As an AOI operator as well, I can see your point, but what about 0402 parts, and all chip capacitors? These parts are not marked, but I presume you accept those? In relaity, an unmarked resistor is no different to any cap, and you don't worry about t

Fuse was ok but the resistor which feed optocoupler was burned out. After replacing resistor everything is working fine. Now I've got error: "Infeed disbaled" - but this is configuration error ? BTW I have one more question - can I use this machine

Please us OK/NG light. This is advace light.Especially when there are 402 black resistors and they are on dark green or balck pcb, this ligt is perfect. But, this is optional thing. You must contact with local distributor to activate this ligt.

Depending on the vision, there might be issues with small black parts (like 0402 resistors etc.) - we have Mirtec MV2-HTL, btw.

From my perspective, I like marked parts because I can use AOI to verify the correct parts are being placed in production. If an operator is going to load the wrong reel, I prefer to find out on the first PCB rather than after 5000 wrong parts have b

Q1: Are the markings on resistors the actual value? A1: Generally, resistor marking indicates the value of the device, where the first two digits are the value and the third digit is the multiplier. Q2: Do AOI machines look for these markings or do

Hello John, the answer of your question is more organizational than technical. Most CEM use their own part number system(you will need to purchase software for that), and that is exactly what you want to do.You can have 5 different resistors 10kOhm
