The 2017 Medical Electronics Symposium will be held at University of Texas at Dallas, on May 16-17, 2018. SMTA, iNEMI, and MEPTEC have again joined forces to host the International Symposium, which will focus on innovation in electronic technologies and advanced manufacturing specifically targeting medical and bioscience applications. The Symposium will be chaired by Chuck Richardson of the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (iNEMI).

IPC India has announced the 2nd annual Integrated Electronics Manufacturing & Interconnections (IEMI) event scheduled on August 1, 2023 in Chennai, and on August 3, 2023, in Pune, India. Pre-event activities will start this November with skill competitions in hand soldering/wire harness/PCB design and member networking events at various locations in India and other countries. IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries® reports that 85 percent of exhibit floor space has been sold for IPC APEX EXPO® 2019. Three hundred twenty-seven exhibitors have been assigned to 134,200 net square feet of exhibit space, marking a 5 percent increase in square footage compared to 2018’s booth space selection event. The premier technical conference and exhibition for the electronics manufacturing industry will take place January 29–31, 2019, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.
