| | | Is there someone who can tell me where I can buy rolls of leader tape for SMT component tapes. Is there a good way of bonding leader tapes, maybe a special instrument to do the job. Thanks for any help. | | Igmar: The following companies suppl

8mm Cover Tape Breakage

Electronics Forum | Mon May 27 12:55:28 EDT 2002 | jgeissler

We are experiencing an increased amount of machine stoppage due to brittle 8mm cover tape. The issue does not appear to be feeder or part/manufacturer specific. Taking a foot of cover tape and pulling it from the ends results the cover tape snappin

8mm Cover Tape Breakage

Electronics Forum | Mon May 27 15:12:43 EDT 2002 | grantb

Hi Yes we run into this fairly often, but rarely with 8mm, mostly 12 and 16mm and the tape usually splits rather than completely breaking.I would also be interested in hearing about others problems and if there is a specification dealing with this so

Epoxy Covered PCBAs Means to prevent hacking?

Electronics Forum | Mon Sep 22 22:19:16 EDT 2003 | Dean

Questions: 1. Is this a retail product sold as PCB only? Or is this in a finished chassis / case (like an external modem)? 2. Are the customers damaging only the BGA devices? Like prying them up with a screw driver? What? You can dam and fill
