Hi Dallen, I do not know BTU VIP70 oven, any way make sure if it is not yet wired for 480 V 3Ph (wiring diagram), may be it needs just to reset wiring on terminal block in order to run at 480V. Best if you ask BTU. If not, you have to buy a Transfo

This is a long shot, but can anybody advise on the supplies for a BTU oven. It is currently in the UK and is supplied by a 415V 4 wire. That is 3 phases and a neutral. We need to ship it to our plant in Mexico where they have a 480V 3 wire supply.

VIP 98, I believe that's a 7 zone if I can remember 6 years ago. Try 150, 165, 200, 235, 235 and 235 (top and bottom temps) with a belt speed of 35 inches per minute. This should get you in the ball park depending on the size of your board.

Seems we had similar issue years ago with our VIP 70. There are a series of 2pin axial fuses on the panel with the SS relays and contactors (I don't think it was over the FCU). Check each fuse with a meter; replaced ours and the e-stop cleared and th

Hello, I have an oven with a big fail. The Control Unit. It is a 5 zones oven (BTU VIP70)and has more than 10 years, and I think that now is not interesting to repair. I think to buy an offer, an oven Heller of 7 zones + cool,(better for lead free).

Can anyone shed any light on the Speed configuration setting on a BTU VIP70? We're using Winconv2.4a if that matters. There are only 3 editable fields in the configurator, Pulses per unit - Power - Distance. I'm struggling to find out what constitu

Thanks for all the responses. BTU has now informed that the reason it is so expensive is the oven heaters need completely rewiring and some work in the transformer area etc is required. Also, we have to pay for engineering work for them to know wha
