Hit wax dip of your edge connector. HVLP spray your conformal coating. hot alkaline wash to remove the wash. Followed by de-ionized water. Other techniques using peallable latex. Sarason

Yeah, we do have wrist straps, heel straps, ESD wax, and grounded ESD mats on all work benches. One guy with long fly-away hair was actually told to wear his hair pinned back as well - so started to wear a ball cap... Genny.

we use turtle wax on a more serous note, I bet those two products are similar in the fact it you fill the ridges in the aperture walls you will get better release. They may be closer than you think.
