Can you explain in details what you want to do. 1. do you need to create parts for your library(datasheet) 2. Do you want to create a pick and place file for a board(centroid file from CAM/CAD system)

We use our MIRTEC to inspect Thru hole axial components after they've come off of the Universal VCD machine. I just add them to the centroid data in Circuitcam and the operators program the images like any other part.

Had a similar problem as the software can be tricky and time consuming - I ended up getting the files created by http://www.surfacemountprocess.com/centroid-file-generation-service.html

Doug, It always seems easier to fix one or two problems by eye at the time. The real problem comes when the customer wants the same board run again later. You're okay if you saved the corrected placement routine, but if you end up moving the job t

I've used an old version (maybe 7 or 8 years old) of GC-Place to convert gerber to centroid data. It is semi-automatic. If I remember correctly we'd start by selecting the pads for the largest components first. The software would find matching gro

You are making sense. And no you can't go from centroid data to a program at the machine automatically. You can type in the numbers if you want but the machine won't turn centroid into a placement program. Don't you have PanaPro? I thought there w

Hello, We have made a small tool - PROCAM - for extraction of Centroid Data (X, Y, R, etc.) from Gerber. There are a few softwares available already in the market doing this but they cost a lot of money. Our target is to have PROCAM available to cus

Miguel, Ask your Philips salesman or local representative for a copy of the VIOS software configured to run on a stand-alone PC AND a hardware key. With this software, you are basically programming your machine at your desk as long as you have CAD

We are locvated in Peru, Indiana. Generally, we have some sort of CAD Data provided but no way of collecting centroid Data if it is not in the product files. We have had to do some teaching of parts over more than 300 placements in the past. If an
