These ovens maintain good profiling as long as you stay on top of maintenance. I had 4 150's and 1 125. The biggest headache is keep the plenums cleaned (very messy). Also the blower motors have been replaced a few times on them as well. If I were yo

We are currently experiencing with our SMD Solder Reflow Equipment on Shooting-Up Zones (Zones 3,4,5,7 & even Cooling Zone). PV exceeds about 5-10 degrees with the SP. (ex: SP=140deg, actual PV = 145deg & higher). Our equipment undergo a monthly prev

Reflow Oven Exhaust Temperature

Electronics Forum | Mon Jun 22 16:34:14 EDT 2020 | stephendo

What I have seen used are belt driven roof mounted exhausts. There would be a drum fan that is driven by belt and motor. That way the fumes never go over the motor or the belt. We would have to replace the belt every couple of years or so but then it

Hello all, I am having difficulty with an OmniExcel 10 oven. Zone 5 upper will not hold setpoint = 165C (it typically runs ~10C higher). Here is what I know: 1. The machine is not turning on zone 5 heat when temp is too high. 2. Zone 5 lower is

Well, it appears after running both a bare and populated PWB we were seeing flux exhaustion on the uBGA. The problem apparently resulted by a recent maintenance effort where the air blowers in the reflow oven were replaced. The blower replacement m

I haven't used either of them but... The Essemtec distributors & their engineers over here do quite like the RO400 & 300 (typically not much to do on a service but clean them) and the places I am aware of that use them are happy enough with them too.

So I have this issue with my 1240. During my weekly oven surveyor check I get a software alarm that says I am out of tolerance. Probe #3 which is closest to the hinge side of the oven is approx. 10 degrees hotter in zone 12 than the other 2 probes o
