Take a look at http://www.atco-us.com/products/info/3 . Benchtop version is also available. A full forced convection oven delivers much better thermal uniformity than an IR/forced air combo system. When comparing different ovens, some things to

Profiling LQFP-144 with ground plane

I have a pcb with an ENIG finish that is using a 144 pin LQFP and being soldered withSN100C/NC258 T4 paste. I used a oven profiler where the probes are taped down to the joint and the profiling software adjusts the program for the best profile for

Hi Barry, Your best course of action is to perform a thermal profile and determine exactly what the times/temps are in these locations. Try to match your profile to the recommendations of your solder paste. (Time between 130-160, Time over 183 and m

Internal Oven Calibration

Hi, Does it really matter what temp the oven runs at as long as the PCB's are profiled correctly? I mean we run boards through all the time to check profiles, so as long as that's ok, would it matter what the oven though the temps where? Regards,

Re: Double-sided reflow with BGA??? Can it be done?

Electronics Forum | Tue Sep 15 09:04:57 EDT 1998 | Chrys

| I was wanting to know if double sided reflow can be done with a metal plated BGA on topside. We would be running bottom side first. My boss seems to think the only way it can be done is by placing glue dots on the bottomside compoents because the
