it looks like the table is in contact with the Y1 switch. If you can remove the cover, the motor is the R/H one. Turning the belt will move that side of the table. I'm going with the assumption that an X4 is close to an X5.

we use A EKRA X5 it can use A pad our the fiducial I generaly use A pab becuse most of our stencil don't come with the fiducials on them and our boards our HASAL and the fids our domed most of the time the smt pads work better for me

Snap off is an option to make distance between PCB and stencil. If the distance not enought, adjust the PCB thickness too. Mostly we don't use snap off, I more prefer if the stencil is tight with the PCB - I know, this make the stencil lifetime worst

We have X5's. You are able to turn inspection on/off on the screen. Obviously an older machine running XP. I have never had a bad experience with ASYS support. I usually call our regional Field service rep. Where are you located?
