We have an electrovert 16" econopak wave solder machine with two identical pots (exchange between Tin Lead and Lead Free). When the pots are exchanged the same thermocouple is used, and the same controller is used - with the set point adjusted. The S

Hi Coop, Sounds like you are having top side wetting issues. Generally this is flux related, but with a foam fluxer, I'd kinda doubt it's the fluxer. Could be heat related as well. Try slowing the conveyor speed to verify. Long leads - hmmmmm.

RO-VARIO, the new developed reflow and curing oven from Essemtec, offers a unique modularity and flexibility for a number of solder and hardness tasks in the electronics and solar engineering industries. The first ovens were delivered to the customers earlier this month.
Lyra Reflow Oven is a soft soldering that realizes the mechanical and electrical connection between the solder ends of surface mount components or the pins and the printed board pads by remelting the solder paste pre-distributed on the printed board
In the world of makers, people enjoy the fun of designing and developing hardware/ software, even final electronic products. They will not concentrate a lot on the cost and manufacturability. But it is quite different from lab to factory, when it com
