We did a batch of boards with lead free HASL that we thought was leaded. Using standard leaded paste worked, but we did have some wetting issues. The issues were resolved when switching back to leaded HASL. Can't speak to your specific fiducial issu

We are moving from ENIG to Immersion Ag. We notice PCB's with Ag finish getting more heat(increase in peak temp) than the ENIG. Any reasoning behind this phenomenon ? KT

Get a couple of quotes on ENIG. You may be surprised at the price. HASL, (which is often considered to be the cheapest finish), is now more expensive for us than ENIG due to the extra processes involved.

I was referring to the HASL supplied by the supplier...specifically Lead Free HASL. I've been searching the web and I cannot find a thickness specification like we have for ENIG and Immersion Silver.
