Robotics technology influences every aspect of work and home. Robotics has the potential to positively transform lives and work practices, raise efficiency and safety levels and provide enhanced levels of service. Even more, robotics is set to become the driving technology underpinning a whole new generation of autonomous devices and cognitive artefacts that, through their learning capabilities, interact seamlessly with the world around them, and hence, provide the missing link between the digital and physical world. Robotics is already the key driver of competitiveness and flexibility in large scale manufacturing industries. Without robotics, many of the successful manufacturing industries would not be able to compete from their current operation. In these industries robotics already underpins employment. Increasingly robotics is becoming more relevant for smaller manufacturing industries.

There are too many health and safety challenges in the workplace for individuals to fend for themselves. That's why every major developed nation has an agency tasked with establishing workplace health, safety, and security regulations. Good safety regulations encourage both workers and employers to protect each other's well-being and financial health. It takes mutual effort to keep everyone safe and productive. Employers ensured workers safety by providing them with protective gear.

With technology playing such an important role in today's society. It's kind of hard to imagine life without relying on certain devices and machines for performing both complex and simple tasks. Though the pace at which technology is developing is moving very rapidly. It's a painstaking process. Nowadays, sensors are used on daily basis in objects like smoke alarms, parking sensors, burglar alarms and temperature sensors. Sensors are found in both commercial and residential settings. The demand for work efficiency is on the constant rise in the mass production industry, and lots of manufacturers have to invest in industrial sensors to ensure a quality workflow.

A turbine is an engine capable of extracts energy from a fluid flow and converts it into mechanical energy. This energy then drives a generator to produce electrical power. Turbine parts are important in the sense that all of them have their own usage that ensured the smooth operation of the turbine.

Most of us are familiar with vibration; a vibrating object moves to and fro, back and forth. A vibrating object oscillates. We experience many examples of vibration in our daily lives. A pendulum set in motion vibrates. A plucked guitar string vibrates. Vehicles are driven on rough terrain vibrate, and geological activity can cause massive vibrations in the form of earthquakes. There are various ways we can tell that something is vibrating. We can touch a vibrating object and feel the vibration. We may also see the back-and-forth movement of a vibrating object. Sometimes vibration creates sounds that we can hear or heat that we can sense. In industrial plants, there is the kind of vibration we are concerned about: machine vibration. What is machine vibration? Machine vibration is simply the back and forth movement of machines or machine components. Any component that moves back and forth or oscillates is vibrating. Machine vibration can take various forms. A machine component may vibrate over large or small distances, quickly or slowly, and with or without perceptible sound or heat. Machine vibration can often be intentionally designed and so have a functional purpose At other times machine vibration can be unintended and lead to machine damage. Most times machine vibration is unintended and undesirable. Vibration monitoring allows the user to detect early signs of machine failure/deterioration. This allows the technician to replace or repair machinery before catastrophic system functional failure takes place.

Burner are devices used to mix oxygen with fuel to achieve controlled combustion. The burner produces a specific flame heat-release pattern that can be controlled within the combustion chamber, making it ideal for heating, melting, manufacturing and steam production, among other things. Improper control of the burner could potentially cause significant personnel, environmental and economical damage. Thus, proper control with appropriate tools are important for the reason of safety, pollution control and efficiency of operation.

Calibration is the process of configuring an instrument to provide a result for a sample within an acceptable range. This process eliminated or minimized factors that cause inaccurate measurements. Although the exact procedure may vary from product to product, the calibration process generally involves using calibration instrument to test samples of one or more known values called "calibrators". The results are then used to establish a relationship between the measurement technique used by the instrument and the known values. The process in essence "teaches" the instrument to produce results that are more accurate than those that occur otherwise. The instrument can then provide more accurate results when samples of unknown values are tested in the normal usage of the product.

When putting up an HVAC system, it usually requires a precise amount of constant flow for it to properly size piping, pumps, and other necessary accessories. IF the flow control valves are placed improperly, there will be fluctuations in the pressure systems. Thus, to avoid this from happening, a suitable valve should be installed.

Industrial Ethernet is Ethernet applied to an industrial setting, which often requires more rugged connectors, cables, and better determinism. In order to achieve better determinism, industrial Ethernet uses specialized protocols in conjunction with Ethernet. The most popular industrial Ethernet protocols are PROFINET®, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, SERCOS III, and POWERLINK®. With industrial Ethernet, data transmission rates range from 10 Mbps to 1 Gbps.5 However, 100 Mbps is the most popular speed used in industrial Ethernet applications. Industrial Ethernet protocols like PROFINET and EtherCAT modify standard Ethernet in a way to ensure specific manufacturing data is not only correctly sent and received, but also sent and received on time when the data is needed to perform a specific operation. The industrial Ethernet automation network can sense an error and automatically stop a process, preventing wasted time, product, and money.
