thanks for the info SWAG. My thought was to use a GSM/advantis like a radial inserter or odd form place machine, after double side SMT. We run selective solder as well. The parts I'm looking to place are snap-in electrolytics and radial inductors.

Yes, you should be able to. The feeder interface for the GSMs (not Advantis or Genesis) has been the same as far back as I can remember... And we used to have a D-block machine. We use some of the same feeders from that old D-block GSM on the GSM

@Reckless on GI14 machine, we have around 90k picks per week. About maintenance I rly can not say, since I'm head of programming and not maintenance. But as far as I know GI14 is rly complex just as @Comatose said, but it is much different then GC6

Awesome! It's good you found feeder teach. One warning: feeder teach is not slot specific (at least not when I ran GSM). Example: You teach an 8mm feeder in slot 30. You then teach an 8mm feeder in slot 31. The pick will change for the slot 30
