With those interlocks tested, and confirmed good. I would check the end-of-travel safety switches next. It may think that the head is at the end of it's travel.

Check to make sure the side covers are closed. It is probably an interlock problem. Also if you have carts...make sure the plunger switches are down. Good Luck

Motor Error 5 is usually an interlock error. Take off the rear right cover and look at the red and green led's on the driver cards. If they are both lit....you have a door open or if you have carts....a feeder base switch is up. Good Luck

Hello All We have a Universal Model 6287A that is estimated to be about 25 years old. It has run fine for most of it's life but recently has stopped communicating with it's host computer, whenever any commands were attempted to be sent to the machine
