Since you haven't received any useful advise I will throw my 2 cents in. I do not know this machine but in general what you describe is an axis that does not get it's home pulse in time. Many machines will have an in-range sensor that gets flagged

A soft limit error is an error due to trying to drive the head outside it's mechanical limits. Check your X-axis program data for this part.

bobpan, It only happens with this program. CC ver 7.54, IVC V 3.05 If i leave CC out of it, and edit the sequence using the HHT, it sticks. but if i download from the assembler to CC, it's messed up. if i then fix it in CC, the minute i save

Make sure the board is stopping at the center of the worknest or you will waste lots of time (you'll get software limit errors when you try to find fids.). If it's not in the center, you need to go in and reteach from scratch (doesn't take too long).

If you edit the sequence on the hht.....to fix your problems...you then have to upload the data to central controller. If you are not doing this....you are overwriting the data on the machine with bad data everytime you download to the machine. The l
