In recognition of their leadership and their significant contributions of time and talent to IPC and the electronics manufacturing industry, three IPC volunteers were presented with the IPC President's Award at IPC APEX EXPO in San Diego, Calif on January 24, 2023. Recipients were Steven Bowles, Lockheed Martin; Stan Rak, SF Rak Company; and Savita Ganjigatti, Sienna ECAD Technologies Private Limited.

SMTA International Conference and Exhibition, which took place October 13-17, 2013 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, TX, experienced a 30% increase in registration coming in at over 1,300 and a 45% increase in on-site attendance compared to 2012.

SMTA announced that the program is finalized for the 25th Annual Pan Pacific Microelectronics Symposium. The event will take place February 10-13, 2020 at the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii.
