This message indicates that the Peak to Peak voltage for the x axis motor encoder is too low. Possible cable/encoder or MOT1 board problem. Machine will either exhibit this during intialization or while running. Diagnostics in service routine may he

Mydata TP11-UFP won't initialize

The Xmotor tests just confirms that the hardware did not initialize.....unless I am looking at the wrong menu. I have external fans on the booster board and the X motor on the back of the machine as well as one blowing directly into the computer box

I cleaned and re-greased everything on the Hydra head and I even changed the motor and encoder and it still gives me the timeout error Z/156. Where do I look now? My machine has been down now for 3 weeks.

So to sum up: you have no mechanical blockage, you have new motor and encoder. That leaves only two more parts(cable and Hydra Z-Controller).
