I'm assuming it's your x wagon tranducers that are out of synch. So the first place to start is look at your couplings on both x motors and make sure one of them isn't broken or starting to break. After that i would try swapping out your x board with

Another thing you can check is where the bar comes down off of the hydra z motor there is a little bearing you can see from the front make sure that bearing is turning even oil it up a little. You can also adjust the tension by loosening the tiny set

Z-force sensor is a tool travel indicator. It has nothing to do with Z travel. Does the Midas head move at all, during initiation? It sounds to me like a Z motor/encoder problem. Is the Midas head ribbon cable plugged in?

The tapping noise is what you hear when Hydra taps each tool on the tool bank to make sure the tips are seated well. The error is a Z-motor problem. The gear is at the top of the Hydra and needs grease. Have you cleaned the old grease and applied new

That depends on what service screen you are using there are 2 of them.One is the exit to service under your exit prompt. The other is an extended version of the service program and you have to exit tpsys under the exit prompt and type in service -x w

Thank you for the reply - and yes its a TP9-UFP! Problem doesnt happen all the time and may not happen for extended periods on the job where we see it most - this particular job uses all feeder slots so the head is whizzing back and forth quite a l
