make sure noting stock in the X ,and motor brake work usually machine supply 24V to motor brake wire for release brake then move until hit the end stopper for init motor if brake keep on that will the error message i got it often on the Z cause

It's a motor controller card error. I'm not completely sure, but, it seems like something in the x. Swap MOT1 with MOT2 or 3, and see if the error moves. If it does, you have a bad MOT card. If it doesn't, you have something going on with a motor

Ok I can get into the service program - under Motors there is only a single X motor listed. And what test can you do - seems that I can only display ranges and settings? No test as such?

One thing a lot of people don't know is that the small X motor on MY machines have carbon brushes in them. If you do not replace the brushes before they wear out it trashes the motor.
