MPM UP2000 Squeegee Problem

Electronics Forum | Mon Aug 02 08:52:57 EDT 2010 | vetteboy86

I can't say that I have an answer as to fixing the mechanics of your issue. However, doesn't that machine have an auto blade height? If so, even with one blade lower than the other, the blade height should only depend on stencil height. I could be co

It's been a while but I believe the UP2000's should have a calibration for the squeegee height as well. I think you log in under the Calibrate or Maintenance then that should give you access to the menu you need. Once you find it I'm pretty sure it w

Problems with frameless stencils on MPM??

Maybe you stencil height measurement is being affected. Check your tactile sensor, it may be sticking due to paste or adhesive getting on it.

Problems with frameless stencils on MPM??

Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 14 07:59:33 EDT 2005 | james

The tactile sensor seems to be fine. I think it may have something to do with the stencil being not as tight as to one that is on a stainless steel frame. When we set the height of the stencil we have to do it towards the back of the stencil becaus

Tactile Hardware limit MPM Ultraprint 2000

We replaced the tactile sensor's linear actuator on a MPM Ultraprint 2000 HiE. Now we are getting a Tactile Hardware limit error every time we try to find the stencil height. I was hoping some one could explain why we're getting this error and any i

MPM Accuflex Squeegee Error

I'm trying to get an '07 Accuflex into production and I seem to have a small problem. When trying to calibrate the zero pressure point on the squeegees I drive them down until they are touching the stencil and once they touch the stencil they run ou

Pressure printing systems Conventional stencil printing techniques have fundamental limitations as regards paste handling: The volume of paste available for printing is limited, so frequent replenishment is necessary Paste is difficult to c

Tactile Hardware limit MPM Ultraprint 2000

Here's a few ideas: If it has one, make sure the flexible coupler set screws are tight. Replace the tactile switch (often these appear to work fine in I/O but do not work properly in production). Clean and oil the tactile plunger if it has one. M

Franky, what method are you using for printing glue? metal stencil or plastic?, and is it on contact or off contact ? and what type of squeegee's are you using? basically give us more infomation. In term's of measuring height / volume, you can do t

First, in direct answer to your question, DOE printer setup variables (MPM): * Squeegee speed: 0.5 to 1.0 in/sec * Pressure (metal): 1lb/in of blade * Pressure (plastic): 1.6-3 lb/in Second, supprting earlier responses, most people monitor paste hei
